FAQ
Is my JSON uploaded to your servers?
No. All parsing and formatting happens inside your browser using native JavaScript. Nothing is sent over the network.
What indentation does it use?
Two spaces by default. Switch to four spaces or tabs from the options, or minify to a single line.
Does it validate against a JSON schema?
Not yet — it catches syntax mistakes (missing commas, unclosed brackets, wrong quotes) but doesn't check your JSON against a schema. Schema-aware validation is on the roadmap.
How big a file can I paste?
Tens of megabytes is comfortable on modern browsers. Past 100 MB things can slow down while the browser parses — try a chunk if your file is enormous.
