The short version

Shahzaib Tools is designed so that your files and inputs stay on your device. Tools run entirely in your browser. For AI-powered tools, you supply your own API key — we never receive it and never proxy your requests.

What we collect

• Anonymous usage analytics — aggregate page-view counts via privacy-respecting analytics. No user profiling, no cross-site tracking, no personally identifiable information.
• Standard server logs— our hosting provider (Vercel) records IP addresses, user-agent strings, and request paths for abuse prevention and debugging. These are retained per Vercel's policy.

What we do NOT collect

• Any file you upload to a tool (files never leave your device).
• Any text, JSON, prompt, or other input you paste into a tool.
• Any AI provider API keys — those stay in your browser's local storage.
• Cookies for identification. We do not use tracking cookies.

BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) for AI tools

When you use a tool that talks to an AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.), you paste that provider's API key into the tool. The key is stored in your browser's localStorageand is sent directly from your browser to the provider. It never touches our servers. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain removes the key.

Advertising

Some pages may display advertisements served by third parties (for example, Google AdSense or Carbon Ads). These providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visit to this and other websites. You can review and control this through your browser settings or the provider's own preference controls.
